Getting Started with Formatting
Head to your question management space:
- On the left, in your Mission Control, click Report Management.
- On the right, under Question Management, click Create and manage questions.
- To build questions, click Create a New Question or find a question you'd like to edit by navigating to your categories, selecting a question, and clicking the Edit button.
- You can add formatting to the Main Text or any Highlighted Text sections in your question block.
Add Formatting to Your Question
Once you've opened a question, start by highlighting text or typing '/' to bring up the formatting options.
Using the Formatting Tools:
Highlight the text you want to format or type '/' to get started. This will bring up the new formatting options bar.
You can adjust the text size, add underlines, apply italics, and even change the text color to make key information stand out.
Organizing Content:
Create numbered or bulleted lists to organize instructions or steps clearly.
Add hyperlinks to external resources by highlighting the text and inserting the link.
Adding Multimedia:
To embed a video or add an image, place your cursor where you want the media to appear.
For videos: Select "Embed Video," paste the URL link, and press "Embed." Don’t forget to erase the backslash afterward.
For images: Choose "Add Image," then upload from your computer or use a URL. You can also add alternative text and descriptions for accessibility.
Preview and Save:
As you format your question, you’ll see a live preview on the right-hand side.
Once you’re satisfied with your changes, scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Edit This Question" to save.
Your newly formatted question will now be ready, offering a clearer and more dynamic experience for your reporters. Try out these new tools today and see how simple it is to make your forms both functional and engaging!
