Now You Can

Ever wish you could permit your reporters to update your Site Profiles? Well, now you can. 

With just two easy steps, you can enable any field in your Site Profile to be completed by your reporters, and target which reporters have permission to access and edit the fields. 

Let's review the steps for enabling your new superpower.

Step 1: Enable Site Fields for Reporter Completion

To enable your Site Profile fields for reporter completion: 

1. On the left, in your Mission Control, click Reporters, Staff, & Sites.
   
   
2. On the right, click Manage sites & cohort.
   
   
3. On the right, select Manage Site Profiles & Layout.
   
   

4. On the top-right, click Manage a Field. 
   
   

5. The Field Manager will open:
   
   

6. If any checkbox in the table is inaccessible, click on the field and follow these steps:
   
   a) The field management window will open.  
   
   b) Scroll to these two sections and adjust the Field Access for Admins (staff) and Reporters: 
   
   

   
   c) Click Update to save your changes.
   
   

7. Once you've given Admins (staff) or Reporters the ability to edit a field, you'll be able to turn on the Quick Access Availability in the Field Manager:
   

Step 2: Permit Reporters to Edit Site Profile Fields

Start by accessing the reporter's profile:

1. On the left, in your Mission Control, click Reporters, Staff, & Sites.
   
   
2. On the right, click Manage reporter accounts.
   
   
3. Find the reporter's name in the table and click it.
    
4. Open the Site Assignment panel.
   
   
5. Find the field called Allow Site Profile Viewing & Editing and click the pencil icon.
   
   
6. The Edit Site Assignment window will open. Change the field from 'No' to 'Yes.'
   
   
7. Click Update to save your changes.
    
8. Reporters will see a new icon in their Mission Control with a badge with the number of fields awaiting their completion. Like this:
