Find the Profile Layout Manager

The reporter profile can capture all of the reporter information you need. From documents to addresses, photos to all of your important dates, you’ll be able to quickly and easily add any field you need at any time.

To access the reporter Profile Layout Manager space:

  1. On the left, in your Mission Control, click Reporters, Admin, & Sites.

  2. On the right, click Manage reporter accounts.

  3. On the right, in the More menu, select Manage Fields and Profile Layout.

Components of the Profile Layout Manager

The Profile Layout Manager is the space where you will manage the look and feel of your reporter profile pages. The profile is made up of standard and custom panels, as well as any number of sub-panels, fields, and context blocks.

There are two different types of panels in your Impact Suite:

  1. Standard Panels - System-preset panels that contain essential fields required for your Impact Suite to operate correctly. These panels have limited customization options to maintain system integrity.

  2. Custom Panels -  Panels that you create and fully customize to capture, organize, and display information specific to your program’s needs.

IMPORTANT: The first time you open the Page Layout Manager, only the standard panels will appear.

The following are the components of the profile you can create and customize:

  1. Panel - A collapsible section within a reporter’s profile, opened or closed using the green arrow. Panels are used to organize related fields and information, and can be targeted to specific reporters based on their assigned Type 1 Association.

  2. Sub-panel - A section within a panel used to further organize and divide related fields or information, making profiles easier to navigate.

  3. Field - An individual data entry space used to collect specific information from or about reporters. Fields can capture various types of data, including numbers, dates, text, file uploads, or document signatures.

  4. Context Block - A formatted text space used to share additional information, instructions, or context with reporters or admins. Can include styled text, photos, and file attachments.

At the top of the Profile Layout Manager, you'll see options to create and manage new components for the reporter profile:

  1. View Panels - A tool that displays panels according to their targeting rules for Type 1 Associations, allowing admins to preview how panels appear for different reporter groups.

  2. Create a Panel

  3. Create a Sub-panel

  4. Create Context Block

  5. Create a Field

  6. Manage Custom Fields - A tool that provides a bird’s-eye view of all custom fields created in the reporter profile. From here, admins can manage key field settings, such as making a field mandatory upon enrollment, requiring reporters to complete it, and more.

Understanding Custom Panels

You have the freedom to create an unlimited number of Custom Panels to house context blocks, sub-panels, and fields. The only place you aren't able to move a Custom Panel is to the top of the profile, as the Name & Contact details panel lives in that space.
