what should my reporters do when they serve at more than one site on a single day?

Multiple Sites on Time Sheets

There may be times when your reporters will need to show that they served at more than one site on a given day. Here are a couple of scenarios to help you explain the best way to handle this.

Scenario 1: I serve at Site A for the first half of the day, then at Site B for the last half of the day. How do I handle this?

Steps for reporters to follow:

  1. Open your time sheet and find the day or days when you served at both Site A and Site B.

  2. Move both sites from Available to Selected and click Update.
  3. Enter hours for the first half of your day into Site A and then hours for the second half of your day into Site B. (Ask your supervisor where you should account for lunch or breaks, if applicable, and if you can count commute time between the two sites.)

Scenario 2: I sometimes serve at Site A, then at Site B, then return to Site A to finish the day. How do I handle this?

Steps for reporters to follow:

  1. Open your time sheet and find the day or days when you served at both Site A and Site B.

  2. Move both sites from Available to Selected and click Update.
  3. In this scenario, you will enter your initial time in and your final time out into Site A.

  4. For Site B you will only enter the hours you served at there. (Ask your supervisor where you should account for lunch or breaks, if applicable, and if you can count commute time between the two sites.)
