Group Profile Basics

Once you have created a Group (remember that you can always add more later), you may want to do a little planning and create the profile view that your reporters and staff see before beginning to create your Fields.

Here’s a sample of profile view:

  • Some clients might prefer to create Fields before creating the profile layout. Great!

  • See the section called Accessing and Creating New Fields from the ‘More’ menu.

There are two types of panels: Standard and Custom. Standard panels cannot be removed, and the Assignment Details panel always stays at the top of the profile. Other Standard panels can be drag-and-dropped wherever you like.

The Standard panels on an identifier profile are:

Panel NameDescription
Assignment DetailsThis panel holds critical information about the identifier, including: Group name, creation date, list of reporters assigned (and formerly assigned), and Status (Active or Archived).
Communications History (Outbound)This panel will show any messages your staff permissions allow you to see. For more information, see this article
Report DataThis panel will show any report data for this individual identifier. You can also update field data against report data using the Update Data with Current Fields link.

You can drag-and-drop the Communications History (Outbound) and Report Data panels to any position you'd like. The Assignment Details panel stays at the top of the profile.

Getting to the Group Profile Management Page

On the Edit Profile Layouts page, you can create an unlimited number of Panels and Sub-panels to house all of the Fields fields you’ve created.

Here’s how to get there:

  1. On the left, in your Mission Control, select Groups.

  2. On the right, under the Manage Groups section, use the drop-down to choose the group you’d like to work on.

  3. On the top-right, use the More menu to click Manage Profile Layouts and Fields.
