All items on this checklist must be completed before Fellows can begin tracking their service in America Learns. If you need help completing a step, please contact #CaliforniansForAll College Corps Technical Support.

Community Host Partner Onboarding Checklist


Create Community Host Partners and Profiles (Step 1)This allows Fellows to be assigned to their partner.

Create Supervisor Staff Accounts for your Community Host Partners (Step 2)This allows your partners to log in to the system to approve timesheets.

Archiving Community Host PartnersIf you have Community Host Partners that will not be participating in Cohort 2, please be sure to archive them. This action will remove the Community Host Partner from your lists, but it will not delete any data associated with the site.

Enroll Your FellowsThis creates accounts for your Fellows.

Define blackout periodsThis allows your Fellows to start logging time on their first day of service.

Mass-Update Blackout periods


Send welcome emailsThis sends your Fellows a link to create their password and log in to the system.

If you assigned Fellows only to your “Campus” site during upload: Assign your Fellows to Community Host Partners*This links previously unassigned Fellows to their assigned Community Host Partner.

If a Fellow withdraws or leaves the program early: Mark your Fellows as an early exitThis prevents Fellows no longer participating from receiving communications or being included in certain reports. It does not permanently delete their data.
