The Communications Portal
Follow these steps to send e-mail and text messages to your reporters, supervisors, and staff.
- On the left, in your Mission Control, click Communications Portal. 
- Select who your message should be sent to.  Want to send messages to your Group Identifiers? Check out this article. Want to send messages to your Group Identifiers? Check out this article. 
- In the new Message Type section, select 'E-mail' or 'Text to Mobile Device'.  
- When sending e-mail messages, keep the following in mind:  - Messages will be sent from replytosender@americalearns.net.
- At the bottom of every email, a note will appear informing recipients who sent the message and where replies will be sent.For example, if Bells Hooks is sending the email from your organization, at the bottom of the email recipients will see this note: 
 ***IMPORTANT***
 Replies to this e-mail will be sent to Bell Hooks.
- Additionally, to make sure recipients always know the email is coming from you, emails' subjects will always begin with your program's name or abbreviation. 
 If you log into your Communications Portal and scroll to the bottom, you'll see that prefix waiting for you in the Subject field.

- You can attach up-to four files to your emails. 
 
- Messages will be sent from replytosender@americalearns.net.
- When sending text messages, keep the following in mind:  - Text messages can only be sent to recipients who have enabled the feature in their accounts. 
 When selected recipients have not enabled this feature, you'll see a message like this one. Click the link, Learn who, to see a list.
- Text messages are sent from the number: 42680 
 This number does not receive replies. To include your email address for a reply use this checkbox.
 
- Enter your message and click Send Now.
