Linking Surveys Launches to Timesheets Overview
When you link a survey launch to a timesheet, reporters will be asked to complete their survey before submitting their timesheet.
If a linked survey has not been submitted, reporters will see this instead of having an option to sign and submit their timesheet:

You can link survey launches to timesheets regardless of the Frequency Option you select in launch settings:

- Frequency Option: Link Survey to Timesheet Periods - selecting this frequency option will automatically create launch periods that launch on the same day the timesheet period starts and are due on the final day of the timesheet period.
This frequency option is best when survey periods always align with timesheet periods.
For example: Reporters submit a weekly timesheet and a weekly survey. - Frequency Option: One Time, Weekly, or Monthly - selecting this frequency option will allow you to manually choose whether to link each launch to a selected timesheet period.
This frequency option is best when survey periods do not always align with timesheet periods.
For example: Reporters submit a weekly timesheet and a monthly report. You can select the Frequency Option: Monthly, and link the survey only to the last timesheet of the month.

What Happens If a Linked Survey Launch Closes?
When reporters attempt to submit timesheets that are linked to closed survey launches (meaning the due date and extension date of a survey launch has passed), they will see a message like this one:

They will be able to generate an email to the admin(s) with permissions to edit survey launch settings.
The admin will need to extend the survey launch so that reporters can submit it and any linked timesheets.
