Why Can't I Archive My Reporter?
If a reporter has outstanding report edits or outstanding/pending timesheets, they will not be archived until these issues are taken care of.
Here are the scenarios that can prevent you from archiving your reporters.
For outstanding report edits you’ll get this message:
- On the left, click Report Data.
- On the right, click Manage individuals who need to edit data
Here you will find a list of all reporters with data that was returned for editing.
To cancel, simply click the Cancel link to the far right.
- To finalize the cancellation, use the confirmation window.
For pending timesheets you’ll get this message:
To find which timesheets are pending approval:
From the validation message, simply click the link to access the reporter’s dashboard.
In a new tab, the reporter’s timesheet dashboard will open. Timesheets pending approval will live in this section:
Click the Screen link to approve or reject the sheet.
For timesheets that need edits you’ll get this message:
From the validation message, click Close.
- Access the reporters’ Timesheet Dashboard. Click the Show Dashboard link.
- When the dashboard opens, find the section called Sheets That Need to Be Submitted.
Here any sheets that have been rejected for edits will appear with a parenthetical like this: - To cancel the edit request, click the Cancel link.
A confirmation window will appear. Here you will enter your reason for cancelling this edit request.
Please note: your rational for cancelling the edit request will appear in the Audit Trail on the timesheet.
