  7. Please remember that Longitudinal Goal Tracking questions must be associated with at least one of your Groups.

In the section of the question that started with Main Text, please be sure to enable the question for at least one Group:

  8. Proceed to Step 1: Customize Rows, below.

Step 1: Customize Rows

This step includes:

  1. Naming section 1 (Row 1) - essentially defining the action that reporters are taking (Set new goals, Set action items, Report activities or processes started, etc.), and

  2. Giving any additional instructions to reporters how what to do.

  3. Deciding if you will allow reporters to report "No new goals were set during this period," and

  4. Naming section 2 (Row 2). Here you will define what type of tracking will occur (most of the time you'll use the word 'Progress' here).

Step 2: Create and Label Columns

This step allows you to create columns that hold the specific roles (categories) and goals (objectives) you would like your reporters to use when tracking progress.

  • Add new columns by clicking Add Another Column.

  • Move columns up and down with the Move Up and Move Down links.

Step 3: Customize your progress tracker.

This step allows you to give more instruction to your reporters and allows you to define requirements for each status associated with progress for your goals/objectives.

For the Met/Accomplished status in Step 3, you control:

  1. Custom Language

  2. Status Prompt (unique to the Goal Set status)

  3. Progress Notes - Determine if they should be captured or not and if the notes are optional or mandatory.

  4. Notes Prompt

  5. Allow Reporters to Attach Files to Document Progress and if so, how many files can be attached, and

  1.  NEW: The option to give the reporters the ability set the goal again if it was met during the reporting period. The default language is Set, Met, and Set Again; you can customize the language that best fits your program.

For the All Other Statuses in Step 3, you control:

  1. Custom Language

  2. Progress Notes - Determine if they should be captured or not and if the notes are optional or mandatory.

  3. Notes Prompt, and

  4. Allow Reporters to Attach Files to Document Progress and if so, how many files can be attached.

Last Steps: Turning on the Tracker Panel in Profiles & Assigning a Data Viewing Title

  1. Panel Name on Identifier Profiles gives you and reporters (if you want) instant access to the progress made in the Longitudinal Goal Tracking question on your identifier's profiles.

To turn it on, toggle to Yes and give the panel a name.

  2. The Data Viewing Title is the text that will be displayed above the responses to this question on the data viewing pages.

This text should be specific and unique to this question. No other question or subquestion should use this data viewing title.
