I need to create a time sheet extension for one or more of my members

Introduction


Does one or more (but not all) of your reporters need an extension to their service term? Will they need to serve past the end date you initially indicated when creating and assigning them to a time sheet template? No worries, there's an easy two-step fix for that!



Step 1: Update Your Time Sheet Template End Date


IMPORTANT: Time sheet template end dates may be edited until the launch of the final time sheet period. After that, you'll need to reach out to us at support@americalearns.net for help here.


To update a template, follow these steps:


  1. On the left, in your Mission Control, click Time Sheets.

  2. On the right, click Create & manage time sheet templates.

  3. At the bottom, select the template that you’d like to update.

  4. Find the section called Start & End Dates. Next to End Date, click the Edit link.

  5. A window will open. Make your changes and click Save to update with your changes. 


Any changes and updates made to your template are saved automatically and happen instantaneously.



Step 2: Create Mass Blackout Dates for Members You're NOT Extending
