CLLS: prep for 2022-2023 reporting year (new data)

New for 2022 - 2023

Existing Programs

o All learners: Last grade completed (how to add fields)

If you received ESL funding from the State Library in FY 21-22, you will be asked to report on your learner's first language.  Add the following fields.

o  Add first language field (Field: Qualitative single select)

    Languages: Spanish, Vietnamese, Chinese, Tagalog, Korean, Punjabi, Arabic, Japanese, Other

o Create a field for Other. First Language: If Other, please describe. 


If you received new program funding from the State Library for 2022-2023

ESL services

o Create a new Type 1 association for tutors: ESL tutor. Assign all the tutors who are/will be tutoring adults

o If you do not already separate your current ESL and CLLS learners in your Impact Suite, create a new group for ESL learners & copy the Learner group dashboard layout

o  ESL learners: Add first language field (Field: Qualitative single select)

    Languages: Spanish, Vietnamese, Chinese, Tagalog, Korean, Punjabi, Arabic, Japanese, Other*

o *Create a text field: First Language: If Other, please describe.            

o Create a new association for tutors: ESL tutor


FFL services

o Set up FFL Events as another group

o Create a new group called FFL Events

o Create a subpanel: Event Numbers

              Add the following fields:

o  Date of event (Field: Date)

o Total Number of Adults Attending (Field: Quantitative)

o Of those adults, how many are currently enrolled in adult literacy reports? (Quantitative)

                       o Of those adults, how many are eligible for adult literacy services? (Quantitative)

                                      o Number of Children under 5 (Field: Quantitative)

                                      o Number of Children over 5 (Quantitative)

                                      o Number of books distributed at this event (Quantitative)

                            o Subpanel: 1. Today I felt welcome and comfortable, like I belong.

1 - Yes responses (Quantitative)

1 - No responses (Quantitative)

o Subpanel: 2 - I met other people today.

              2 – Yes responses (Quantitative)

              2 – No responses (Quantitative)

o Subpanel: 3 – Today I learned something I can use at home with my family.

              3 – Yes responses (Quantitative)

              3 – No responses  (Quantitative)
