TABLE OF CONTENTS
Introduction to Topic
When viewing a reporter's profile, you might have noticed the Status field in the Name & Contact Details panel -- but do you know what the three statuses (active, deactivated, and archived) mean?
Reporter Account Status Definitions
The table below shows which actions a reporter can perform, based on their account status.
Reporter Status | |||
Reporter Actions | Active | Deactivated | Archived |
Log In | ✅ | ✅ | ❌ |
View/Update assigned fields in Profile | ✅ | ✅ | ❌ |
Submit assigned Timesheets | ✅ | ✅ | ❌ |
Submit assigned Reports | ✅ | ❌ | ❌ |
IMPORTANT NOTE: Toggling between these three reporter statuses will not result in any data loss (for example profile data, submitted timesheet data, or report data). However, deactivating a reporter would disconnect them from any future reports launched. And archiving a reporter would prevent them from taking any further action in their account. Staff can always view and update reporter accounts regardless of status.
