The Learning Community for CLLS Programs Using the Impact Suite

The CLLS Listserv is a space for programming staff of CLLS-funded programs using the America Learns Impact Suite to share resources, get feedback, and offer suggestions to one another. We hope this will become a thriving, supportive community where you can share ideas and strategies.

FAQs

• What is this and where did this effort come from?
  Kelly Tyler at Los Angeles Public Library suggested that we create a basic mailing list for CLLS programs using the Impact Suite to share with and learn from one another. We think it's a terrific idea, as the community may allow you to access even better ideas on how to make the most of your Impact Suite.

• How do I sign up?
  Send an e-mail to alliteracy+subscribe@americalearns.net. Once you send that e-mail, you’ll receive an e-mail that will ask you to confirm your account.

• If I’m a member of the listserv, how do I post questions and resources?
  Send your posts to alliteracy@americalearns.net.

• Is there a way to leave the listserv if it’s not for me?
  Easy. Using the e-mail account you’re registered with, just send an e-mail to alliteracy+unsubscribe@americalearns.net.

• Do I need a Google account to join the list?
  Any type of e-mail account will do.

• Is there a support desk for the listserv?
  If you’re having trouble signing up, please call us or sending a message to support@americalearns.net. For all other questions, the support desk is the listserv itself. Just post your question there and somebody will reply ASAP.

• Should I submit answers to the individual who asked the question, or to the entire listserv?
  You may respond either way. If you believe the entire listserv would benefit by your answer, send it to the entire group. If, however, you think the nature of the question or your answer warrants a private response, feel free to send that response only to the email address of the individual posing the question.

• How do I sign up to receive a daily digest of posts?
  Log into Google Groups and click the Edit My Membership link on the right-hand section of the groups page.
